Inspiration can strike from the most unique places, and people often seek advice from a plastic surgeon in London and from the Harley Street hub of aesthetic professionals because of a particular person or feature they would like to have in their own body.
To find out which celebrities have inspired people the most, a recently commissioned survey of 2000 people has found the celebrity features people want the most, and the answers are rather unique.
For men, the results found the most sought-after looks are for Brad Pitt’s luscious locks, the toned legs of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and the bottom of David Beckham, as well as looking for more toned abs, shoulders and legs in general.
Meanwhile, for women, the most wanted features include J-Lo’s rear, Michelle Keegan’s lips and Angelina Jolie’s eyes, as well as the nose, legs and hair of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.
This is fascinating, because of the eighth of people in the UK who have had some form of plastic surgery, 42 per cent of them claimed that the reason was that they were inspired by the looks of a famous person.
Other reasons why people have plastic surgery include after weight loss treatments (43 per cent), after an accident or disease (48 per cent) and after childbirth (50 per cent).
Reassuringly, it was also found that people who had plastic surgery had been thinking about it for an average of four years, indicating that many people who have a treatment take a lot of time to think about it and seek expert advice regarding realistic and achievable outcomes and expectations.
